Description
The LX H30-R1 3.0KW 1.5 inch heater (Straight) is a great replacement heater for most Chinese hot tubs but may require a small plumbing change. If you are embarking on a custom build this spa heater can be used as a remote heater. It is also compatible with Whirlpool hot tubs.
This hot tub and spa heater is a straight configuration. An L-shaped heater configuration is also available.
Sensor compatibility: Controlled by the system control box. There are no manual controls on the heater itself.
Required flow rate: Set by a pressure switch, this switch will need to be pressurised, if it runs straight to a big bore outlet with no bends, there will be no back pressure and it may not work
Flow detection: The pressure switch built into the heater runs on a separate cord
The LX H30-R1 comes with 1.5″ female socket connections to connect directly to hot tub plumbing. This unit replaces the Rooster heater as they kept failing. This heater is longer than the Rooster so you may need to alter the plumbing slightly. High limit thermal cutout built in. This unit is rated IPX5 and has CE approval.
