A seven seater is the tub you buy to fill the garden with people. Family evenings, friends round at the weekend, everyone in at once. Get it right and it becomes the heart of your outdoor space. Get it wrong and you are heating seven seats for the two of you most nights.
So the best seven seater hot tubs are the ones that give everyone a proper soak without punishing you on running costs. Here is what to look for, then three of ours worth your time.
What makes a good seven seater
Insulation, more than ever. A seven seater holds a big body of water, so it costs more to heat than a small tub by default. Strong insulation is what keeps that in check. It is the first thing to ask about.
Jets that reach every seat. The whole point of a big tub is that everyone relaxes at once. Look for a jet layout that covers all the seats, not just a couple of good spots.
Power that keeps up. A bigger tub benefits from a hardwired supply, which heats faster and holds temperature better in winter. A plug-and-play option is handy if you would rather avoid an electrician, just expect slower reheating.
Space and access. Measure your spot, and leave room to get around the tub for cleaning and servicing. Plan the base early, as a level pad or rated decking is the biggest single extra.
Three of our best seven seaters
SB354S, the versatile all-rounder

The SB354S is a lot of tub for the money, with flexibility most seven seaters do not have. It runs on award-winning R10 insulation to keep the bills sensible, has four cup holders, and offers Bluetooth as an option. It is a 13 amp plug-and-play tub, so it goes in without heavy electrical work. It is also HSG282 compliant, so if you ever want to use it in a holiday let, it is ready for that too. A great choice whether it is for the family or doubling as a rental.

970-S, for space and presence

If your seven seater is going to be the centre of weekends in the garden, the 970-S is the one that looks and feels the part. A roomy tub built for entertaining, with powerful jets to keep a full tub of people relaxed at once. Plenty of space to spread out, and the presence to anchor your outdoor space.

The 770-S gives you a spacious seven seater with powerful jets, room for the whole family and friends, at a price that makes a big tub an easy decision. It is proving popular too, with one snapped up only this week. If you want a proper party tub without the big premium, start here.

Only buy seven seats if you will use them
Worth saying plainly. If it is usually just two or three of you, a smaller tub will cost less to buy, less to run and less to look after. Buy the seven seater because you will genuinely fill it, not just in case.
