A complete strip-down, deep clean and health check. Ideal as a yearly service, or to bring a neglected or second-hand tub back to its best.
A BISHTA-approved engineer finds the fault, with no time limit, and stays until it is found. For leaks, heating problems, a tired pump or a control fault.
A full clean and 65-point health check, then either shut down for winter or brought back to life. Book either on its own, or both.
The same care, sized for swim spas and carried out by the same engineers: service, clean, repair and winter care.
A hot tub is a big investment, and a yearly service protects it. Here is what it does for you.
Many manufacturers require an annual service to keep cover valid. We carry it out and document it, so your warranty stays intact.
A service catches a worn seal, a tired pump or an early leak before it fails, when it is cheap to put right rather than a big bill later.
A full strip-down and biofilm flush clears the build-up inside the pipework that day-to-day chemicals never reach, so your water is genuinely clean.
Clean filters, clear pipework and a tub in good order hold heat and run efficiently, which keeps your electricity bill down.
We are a multi-brand service centre, so you do not need to have bought your hot tub or swim spa from us. Our BISHTA-approved engineers service and repair every make and model, whatever the badge on the cabinet.
+ How often should I service my hot tub?
At least once a year for a tub in normal home use. If you use it heavily, or it is a commercial tub, two services a year keeps it in better shape. A yearly service is also what most manufacturers need to keep your warranty valid.
+ What is included in a hot tub service?
A full service is a deep clean and a health check. We flush the pipework to clear biofilm, drain the tub, pressure-wash and polish the shell, clean and protect the cover and cabinet, refill with fresh water, balance and shock-treat it, and run an up-to-80-point health check with a full operational test.
+ Do you service swim spas?
Yes. We service, clean, repair and winterise swim spas as well as hot tubs, carried out by the same BISHTA-approved engineers. Give us a call and we will quote for your model.
+ Do you service hot tubs not bought from A6?
Yes. We look after hot tubs and swim spas of all makes and models, whoever you bought them from. You do not need to be an existing A6 customer.
+ How much does a hot tub service cost?
It depends on the service you need and how far you are from our Sharnbrook base, as that affects the engineer’s travel. Tell us your model and your postcode and we will give you a clear quote, with no obligation.
+ Do I need an annual service to keep my warranty valid?
Very often, yes. Many hot tub manufacturers require proof of an annual service for the warranty to stay valid. We carry the service out and document it for you, so your cover is protected.
+ Can you repair my hot tub?
Yes. Our Fault Finder service sends a BISHTA-approved engineer to diagnose the problem, with no time limit, and they stay until it is found. We fix it on the spot where we can, and quote parts and labour clearly for anything larger.
+ My hot tub is leaking or not heating. Can you help?
Yes, those are among the most common faults we see. Book a Fault Finder and the engineer will trace the cause, whether it is a leak, a heater, a pump or the controls, and tell you exactly what it needs.
+ My hot tub is old. Is it worth repairing?
We will give you an honest answer. When you book a Fault Finder, the engineer weighs up the tub’s condition and the cost of putting it right, then tells you plainly whether a repair makes sense or whether your money is better spent on a replacement. No pressure either way.
+ What areas do you cover?
We cover [CONFIRM YOUR COVERAGE AREA] from our base in Sharnbrook. Because your quote depends on the distance, the best thing is to call us with your postcode and we will confirm straight away.
+ How long does a hot tub service take?
A full service usually takes a few hours, as draining, cleaning, refilling and balancing all take time. A Fault Finder visit has no fixed time limit, because the engineer stays until the problem is found.
+ What is the difference between hibernate and re-commission?
Hibernate shuts your tub down safely for winter, draining it and protecting it while it is not in use. Re-Commission brings it back to life, refilling it and getting it running again. You can book either on its own, or both.
+ Should I service my hot tub before winter?
It is a good time to, yes. A service before the cold months means everything is clean and working when you want the tub most. If you are not going to use it over winter, a Hibernate shut-down protects it instead.
+ Are your engineers qualified?
Yes. Every service and repair is carried out by our own BISHTA-approved engineers, to the standard set by the hot tub industry’s trade association. We do not sub-contract it out.
+ How do I book a service?
Call the team or drop us a message and we will quote your service, agree a day that suits you and book you in. Start with the service you think you need above, or just call and we will help you pick.
