Is this you?
People book the Platinum service for all sorts of reasons. If any of these sound familiar, this is the one for you.
You have bought a used hot tub
A Platinum service gets it properly clean and checked, so you know exactly what you have taken on.
You have moved into a home with a hot tub

Before we arrive
So the engineer can do a thorough job on the day, please have ready:
- ✓Full access to all panels on the hot tub
- ✓A working power supply to the tub
Frequently asked questions
+ What is included in the Platinum Service & Clean?
It is our most thorough service: an 80-point health check, a full biofilm flush of the pipework, the shell, cover, cabinet and steps deep cleaned, and the water drained, refilled, balanced and shock-treated, finished with a full operational test. All carried out by a BISHTA-approved engineer.
+ How often should I have this done?
Once a year is ideal for a tub in regular use. If your tub is second-hand, has been neglected, or the water will not stay right, it is worth booking sooner.
+ What is biofilm, and why does it matter?
Biofilm is a build-up that forms inside the pipework where your normal chemicals never reach. It is a common cause of cloudy water, foam and odd smells. The system flush in this service clears it out properly.
+ I have bought a second-hand hot tub. Is this the right service?
Yes. It is the ideal first service for a used tub: a deep clean, a pipework flush, fresh balanced water and a full 80-point check, so you start with a tub you can trust.
+ My water keeps going cloudy or smells. Will this fix it?
Often, yes. If the cause is biofilm in the pipework, which it frequently is, the flush and full water refresh in this service deal with it. The health check will also flag anything else behind it.
+ Do you drain the tub as part of the service?
Yes. The water is analysed, the tub is drained and deep cleaned, then refilled with fresh water, balanced and shock-treated, so you are left with clean, properly treated water.
+ How long does the Platinum service take?
A full deep service takes a few hours, as draining, cleaning, refilling and balancing all take time. Your engineer will give you a clearer idea on the day.
+ Do you service hot tubs not bought from A6?
Yes. Our BISHTA-approved engineers deep clean and service hot tubs of all makes and models, whoever you bought yours from.
+ Does this keep my warranty valid?
It helps. Many manufacturers expect regular servicing, and this includes a documented 80-point health check, so you have a record of the tub being properly looked after.
+ How much does it cost?
It depends on how far you are from our Sharnbrook base, as that affects the engineer’s travel. Call us with your postcode and we will give you a clear quote with no obligation.
+ What areas do you cover?
We cover [CONFIRM YOUR COVERAGE AREA] from our base in Sharnbrook. As the quote depends on distance, the easiest thing is to call us with your postcode.
+ Are your engineers qualified?
Yes. Every service is carried out by our own BISHTA-approved engineers, to the standard set by the hot tub industry’s trade association.
