There is a real difference between a tub you sit in and a tub you sink into. For couples, that difference is the lounger. A double lounger tub lets both of you lie right back, stretch out fully and let the jets do the work, at the same time, without one of you perched on a bench.

Why a double lounger suits couples
A lounger seat reclines you almost flat, so the jets can reach your back, legs and feet in one go. Two loungers means you both get that, together. You can talk, share a drink and relax side by side rather than taking turns in the one good seat.
It also tends to be a better use of a smaller garden. You get full-body comfort for two without buying a big party tub you will rarely fill.
What to look for in a couples tub
Size for your space. Measure your spot first, and leave room to get around the tub for maintenance. A double lounger for two does not need to be huge.
Jets that reach. Loungers are only worth it if the jets are placed to work your back and legs while you recline. Look for a proper spread, not just a few near the top.
Running costs. A smaller, well-insulated tub is cheaper to heat, which matters when it is on all year for the two of you. Good insulation is the thing to check.
The evening feel. LED lighting, a quiet pump and a Bluetooth sound system turn a soak into a proper wind-down after work.
